I set up in California’s Sunset Beach to create these smooth water sunset images at dusk. After all the other photographers and tourists had left, the place became much more serene and beautiful.
These very long exposures required patience and imagination because what I envisioned and was capturing was masked by the crashing waves around me — the same crashing waves that over long exposures, became smooth blurred water.
